Dear Praying Friends~ Here we are at Holy Week. Someone challenged me with this question this past week: “If you knew you only had one week to live, what would you say to people?” Jesus knew His betrayal and death were coming and I’m sure He was praying intensely to the Father and asking what He should say to His disciples. He knew they would be afraid and He wanted to give them instructions so they would have an “anchor” to hold to as they waited to see the fulfillment of His Word. I know the time between crucifixion and resurrection was painful and fearful for Jesus’ disciples. I am glad that Jesus instructed us in His Word to keep us anchored in these dark times. I pray that this will be a significant week for you. I encourage you to take time to read the Gospels and to be strengthened by His story again. I invite you to join me as we continue this month’s theme: “SHOW US YOUR GLORY, LORD as WE MAKE DISCIPLES!” We have come to the end of 40 days of prayer and this week, we will let the Holy Spirit lead us in reviewing where we have been.
Let’s pray on, Saints! ~Gina

Monday, March 25, 2024: Choose a scripture/prayer prompt from our Lenten prayer guide and pray again. You can view the prayer guide here.
The “Prayer Fuel” this week comes from 15 Lent Prayers to Use for Reflection
Prayer “Fuel”: Jesus, your journey to the cross was full of betrayal, grief, torture, and darkness, yet your love for us, your people, propelled you onward. Help us to comprehend just how powerful that love is, that you would suffer such a cruel death to make way for us to be with you in glory forever. What a gift, Jesus. What a gift. (add your own prayers) “SHOW US YOUR GLORY, LORD as WE MAKE DISCIPLES!”

Prayer “Fuel”: During this week, Lord, may we quiet the noise that pulls us from adoration of You and puts our attention on lesser things. May we simplify where we have been stressed, may we surrender what has been burdensome, and may we repent of what has been sinful, Lord Jesus. (add your own prayers) “SHOW US YOUR GLORY, LORD as WE MAKE DISCIPLES!”
