Show Us Your Glory, Lord… June 17-23, 2024

Dear Praying Friends~ Had some strange thoughts this week about the “robotic” calls I sometimes get on my cell phone. And then I wondered if that’s how I sound before the Throne sometimes…just saying the words with no real feeling behind them. I think we’d all agree that sometimes our prayer life feels “dry” and it is easy to just give “lip service” to our GREAT and MIGHTY, LORD. In my Bible reading today, I read Psalm 103 again and it seems like the perfect place to settle in this week and to commit to “Bless the Lord, O (our) souls;
And all that is within (us), bless His holy name!” Psalm 103:1 NKJV (adapted) And let’s keep praying…Show Us Your Glory, Lord as we Seek Your Kingdom First! Pray on, Saints! ~Gina

Prayer Pointer: Pray for the grace today to surrender your life again to God. Open your hands as you kneel before him as symbol of your willingness to give him whatever he asks and to receive whatever you need. ~Ann Spangler

Prayer “Fuel”: Lord, what does it mean to “bless” You with ALL that is within me? I’m sorry for the times when my prayers just become “lip service” and don’t come from a heart filled with praise. Help me, Holy Spirit, to truly surrender again today and to lay my ALL on the altar. And help my brothers and sisters all over the world to do the same.
