Show Us Your Glory, Lord… July 15-21, 2024

Dear praying friends,

I said goodbye today to those who joined me in Laramie this past week for our prayer summit. We were all saddened to hear of the shooting incident that claimed lives at the Trump rally in Pennsylvania. Regardless of where you stand politically, I think we can all agree that these actions are grievous to the Holy Spirit. Please join us in prayer for our Nation and our world. The Lord is reminding me that our spiritual house must be built on the “Rock”, the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the only sure foundation. Let’s focus this week on scriptures about the steadfast love of God. Please continue praying with us this week: Show Us Your Glory, Lord, as we sing a new song! Pray on, friends! Gina

Sing to the Lord a new song,
his praise from the ends of the earth,
you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it,
you islands, and all who live in them. ~Isaiah 42:10

Monday, July 15, 2024 : Lamentations 3:22-23 ESV

Prayer Pointer: It is not our littleness that hinders Christ; but our bigness. It is not our weakness that hinders Christ; it is our strength. It is not our darkness that hinders Christ; it is our supposed light that holds back his hand.

-Charles Spurgeon

Prayer “Fuel”: Your faithfulness is great, O Lord. When the world is shaking around us, remind Your children that Your love for us is steadfast and that Your mercies are new every morning. Help us to continually seek You with hearts open to Your Holy Spirit. (add your own prayers) Show Us Your Glory, Lord, as we sing a new song!

Think/Journal/Apply: This is a repeat from last week, but consider this again…

How have I grown in my faith recently, even in small ways?

As You Have Time: One more prayer:

My Prayer
Loving Father, I praise You for Your heart of love that is open towards me, and for the many ways that You shower Your love into my life. Keep me ever mindful of Your never-failing love and ever-abiding presence in my heart. Use me I pray, to stream Your gracious love through my life and out to the weary and thirsty souls that You place in my path. This I ask in Christ’s name and for His greater glory, AMEN.
