Welcome, November!
Dear Praying Friends,
I am writing this just a few days before the election. It feels like everyone is holding our “collective breath” to see the outcome. But this is a good time to remember that we have read the “end of the Book” and know the eternal outcome! Jesus is Lord! Keep your heart and mind settled when you are tempted to be anxious. As we enter a very special time of the year, let’s pray:
Show us Your Glory, Lord as we pray with THANKSGIVING!
Pray on, faithful Saints! Gina

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” ~Joshua 1:9
Friday, November 1, 2024: Psalm 95:1
Prayer Pointer: No one has lived with more humility than Jesus. He came to earth from heaven to become a man, live for us, give his life for us, and be resurrected for us. When you spend time with him, you become more humble, which in turn builds up your relationships for the better. -Rick Warren
Prayer “Fuel”: Lord, I want to come into Your presence today singing a song of joy. You know that sometimes I come half-heartedly and I am sorry. I surrender the struggles, the sin, and everything that hinders that song of joy in my life. Thank You that You never leave me nor forsake me and that Your mercies are new every morning. (add your own prayers) Show us Your Glory, Lord as we pray with THANKSGIVING!
Think/Journal/apply: In what areas of my life am I too focused on outward appearances or achievements?
As you have time: Sing for Joy – The Crosswalk Devotional
Worship Song for Today: Thank You, Jesus

Saturday & Sunday, November 2 & 3, 2024:
Take some time this weekend to take a walk or to listen to some worship and continue in an attitude of thanksgiving. Is there someone that you can drop an encouraging note to?
We’ll be back here with more Bible/ prayer prompts at midnight on Monday, November 4! “See” you then!
