Dear Praying Friends,

The first scripture that I wrote in my journal today (11/17) was Psalm 55:22: “Cast your burdens on the Lord, and He will sustain you. He will never permit the righteous to be moved.” I learned the Hebrew word for “sustain” in this verse is “kul” and it is used to describe God’s providential care and support as well as the endurance and maintenance of life and circumstances. Do you feel like some days are hard to endure? Ask the Lord to help you to cast your burdens on Him so that You can receive the sustaining strength that He provides.
