Show Us Your Glory, Lord…

January 6-12, 2025

Show Us Your Glory, Lord…And Help Us to THRIVE in 2025!

Rhythms of Grace…Praying Kingdom Prayers for Everywhere!

A song that fits our Theme…Open the Heavens…show us Your glory!

Dear Praying Friends, As I write this, I have such a sense of “expectancy.” I have been feeling it for several days now as I pray. Even though many of us will return to “regular” tomorrow, Monday, January 6, following an extra long Christmas break, I feel it very important to tell you to continue to “wait and watch.” Be ready when the Lord calls upon you to do His great work in the earth. Let’s keep praying:

Show Us Your Glory, Lord…And Help Us to THRIVE in 2025!

AND I encourage you to start a JOY JAMBOREE! Our scriptures this week will focus on JOY!

Pray on, Saints! ~Gina

Why Pray?

Monday, January 6, 2025: Romans 15:13

Prayer Pointer: Today, let’s be intentional about refreshing others. It could be a simple smile, a helping hand, a listening ear, or sharing what we have, even when it feels like we have little to give. As you step out in faith, watch how God’s grace flows through you, bringing blessings not only to others, but also to your own heart. ~Our Daily Verse

Prayer “Fuel”: Lord, I trust You! Fill me today with Your joy and Your peace so that I might overflow and start a “joy jamboree” wherever I am! (add your own prayers) Show Us Your Glory, Lord…And Help Us to THRIVE in 2025!

Think/Journal/Apply: Where might God be inviting me to refresh others with kindness or encouragement?

As You Have Time: Take some time today if you are able to “practice” silence. Yes, I think we’d all agree that silence is hard and it takes practice. Try setting you timer for 5 minutes to start as you learn to practice silence. You may want to start by simply saying, “Speak, Lord, your servant is listening.” Ok…ready, set, go!

A worship song for today: Lead Me, Lord

Tuesday, January 7, 2025: Romans 12:12

Prayer Pointer: In Christ, we are more than conquerors – not due to our own abilities, but because of His victory won for us. So let us face today with confidence, stepping boldly into challenges, assured that the God of the impossible empowers our every step. -Our Daily Verse

Prayer “Fuel”: Lord, You tell me to be faithful in prayer. I know that means I need to be talking to You all the time, without ceasing. Let me be more prayerful today than I was yesterday. I know that as I stay in close fellowship with You, I can face the troubles with patience. Fill me with Your joy and help me to bring joy to someone else. (add your own prayers) Show Us Your Glory, Lord…And Help Us to THRIVE in 2025!

Think/Journal/Apply: What challenges feel impossible right now?  Consider quieting your heart in silence again today, waiting in worship of the Lord.

A worship song for today: Still
