Dear Praying Friends, This past week, I started studying the armor of God again. I think what is really resonating right now for me is to remember that we are in a spiritual battle. God sees everything that is going on “behind the scenes” and I believe He wants us to have a greater understanding. Let’s pray for more God “vision” this week! AND…

Think/Journal/Apply: What’s one area of my life where I’m struggling to trust God fully? What practical step can I take today to surrender my need for control?

As You Have Time: Take some time today as you are able to “practice” silence. Yes, I think we’d all agree that silence is hard and it takes practice. Try setting your timer for 5 minutes or more as you grow in the ability to be still! We need to learn to practice silence. You may want to start by simply saying, “Speak, Lord, your servant is listening.” Ok…ready, set, go!

Today, as you are able, please take a moment and pray for EDUCATION. When you see a school bus or come to a school crossing in your town, pause in prayer for protection and the Lord’s presence in that school.

Continue praying and asking God to open your eyes to His presence. Take some time this weekend to rest and reflect. Review the scriptures of the week and think about how far the Lord has brought you. Join others in worship if you are able and share your findings with others. Talk about Jesus!
