Dear Praying Friends, This past week has been quite a show of God’s glory! I’m still running in the “overflow” of how the Holy Spirit moved! A few days ago, I was with a group of friends praying for our town. (Laramie, WY) We focused on how FAITHFUL God is and we were encouraged to keep remembering His faithfulness in the past as we navigate some choppy “spiritual waters” looking to the future. I feel assured that His faithfulness will continue to lead us as we seek Him. But this is the important part of it…HE WANTS US TO SEEK HIM! Don’t fill up your calendar with lots of things and forsake Your time with Him. This week will consist of 2 or more posts providing daily Bible/prayer prompts.

Monday, February 17, 2025: He is FAITHFUL! 1 Corinthians 1:9

Prayer “Fuel”: Lord, I thank You for Your FAITHFULNESS! Thank You for the fellowship that I enjoy with You because of Jesus. Thank You, Jesus, for being the way to God for me. As I look to the choppy “waters” ahead, help me to remember the many, many times that Your FAITHFULNESS has helped me to walk on water! Think/Journal/Apply: What’s one small way I can live intentionally today, knowing I’m made for Him?

As You Have Time: Take some time today to “practice” silence. Yes, I think we’d all agree that silence is hard and it takes practice. Try setting your timer for 5 minutes or more as you grow in the ability to be still! We need to learn to practice silence. You may want to start by simply saying, “Speak, Lord, your servant is listening.” Ok…ready, set, go!

Saturday & Sunday, February 22 & 23, 2025: Sabbath

Continue praying and asking God to open your heart with a greater understanding of His FAITHFULNESS. Take some time this weekend to rest and reflect. Review the scriptures of the week and think about how far the Lord has brought you. Join others in worship if you are able and share your findings with others. Talk about Jesus!
