Dear Praying Friends, A couple days ago I said, “Lord, I’m pretty weary of this world right now.” Maybe I’m articulating how you are feeling, too. The answer that I sensed Him giving was a simple one: “Stay close to Me!” All this month we have been focusing on the need for “stillness” before the Lord. As the days go on, I take to heart what I believe the Lord is telling me: “Stay close to Me!” I hope you will do the same.

This month, let’s continue to pray:

Show Us Your Glory, Lord… Help Us to THRIVE in 2025 and help us to BE STILL and KNOW!

Monday, March 24 , 2025: BE STILL! Lamentations 3:24-26

Prayer “Fuel”: Lord, You tell me in Lamentations that it is good to wait quietly for You. I have a hard time doing that sometimes, so I ask You to help me to stay close to You all this day. (add your own prayers) Show Us Your Glory, Lord… Help Us to THRIVE in 2025 and help us to BE STILL and KNOW!

Think/Journal/Apply: When was the last time I really let God comfort me? 

As You Have Time: Take some time today to “practice” silence. Yes, I think we’d all agree that silence is hard and it takes practice. Try setting your timer for 5 minutes or more as you grow in the ability to be still! We need to learn to practice silence. You may want to start by simply saying, “Speak, Lord, your servant is listening.” Ok…ready, set, go!
