Show Us Your Glory, Lord… May 12,2025…Dealing with Doubt

Dear Praying Friends, The last few days I have been struggling with DOUBT. I’m being honest here! I was praying for a miracle for several people and had to battle the thought: CAN GOD REALLY DO THIS? So this week, this is my prayer :

Prayer Pointer: …the Bible reminds us that the peace of God transcends all understanding. And so the next time we feel perplexed, it is important to stay planted in God’s Word because He promises to give us peace of mind. ~When You Need God

Prayer Fuel: Lord, when I am afraid of what lies ahead,help me to look back to see Your faithfulness in my life. Forgive me for accepting worry rather than turning to You. (add your own prayers) SHOW US YOUR GLORY, LORD! HELP US TO THRIVE IN 2025 AND HELP OUR UNBELIEF!

Think/Journal/Apply: Do you believe that prayer can change things? Why or why not?

As You Have Time: Take some time today to “practice” silence. Yes, I think we’d all agree that silence is hard and it takes practice. Try setting your timer for 5 minutes or more as you grow in the ability to be still! We need to learn to practice silence. You may want to start by simply saying, “Speak, Lord, your servant is listening.” Ok…ready, set, go!
