Dear Praying Friends, On a recent Psalm 91 Daily Call, a special praying friend shared a testimony about how she felt “seen” by caring neighbors who had checked in on her. This made me start thinking about how we are always “seen” by God even when we feel isolated from people. It is good and comforting to know that we are ALWAYS under His watchful eye. So that inspires my prayer for this week. I invite you to join me:

SHOW US YOUR GLORY, LORD! HELP US TO THRIVE IN 2025 AND HELP US TO REMEMBER THAT YOU SEE US!
Monday, May 19, 2025: Genesis 16:13
Prayer Pointer: …when we feel most invisible and forgotten by everyone else, we can remember that God does see us. He witnesses our struggles and comes alongside us. After all, if he sees the sparrows and takes care of them (Matthew 6:26), how much more does he care for us in our greatest time of need? ~Bible Study Tools
Prayer Fuel: Lord, when I forget about You, draw me back! Help me to remember that You are always there and help me to close up the “gaps” of unawareness of You in my day. (add your own prayers) SHOW US YOUR GLORY, LORD! HELP US TO THRIVE IN 2025 AND HELP US TO REMEMBER THAT YOU SEE US!
Think/Journal/Apply: How does understanding the magnitude of God’s love shape my perspective on life’s ups and downs?
As You Have Time: Take some time today to “practice” silence. Yes, I think we’d all agree that silence is hard and it takes practice. Try setting your timer for 5 minutes or more as you grow in the ability to be still! We need to learn to practice silence. You may want to start by simply saying, “Speak, Lord, your servant is listening.” Ok…ready, set, go!
