Dear Praying Friends, When our souls are troubled, it is good to remember that God sees us and is with us. We are not forgotten So that inspires my continued prayer for this week. I invite you to join me:

SHOW US YOUR GLORY, LORD! HELP US TO THRIVE IN 2025 AND HELP US TO REMEMBER THAT YOU SEE US!

Memorial Day…remembering the sacrifices of those who have served us.
Monday, May 26, 2025: Isaiah 41:10
Prayer Pointer: You may have been let down by others—we all have at one time or another. But God is reliable—a firm foundation, strong tower, and safe refuge. His love for you is vast, His motives for you are pure, and His intentions toward you are good. -Melissa Miller
Prayer Fuel: This prayer is taken from a recent post from Our Daily Verse. Since it seems to fit the prayer theme, I felt I should share it:
Dear Heavenly Shepherd, Thank You for seeing me and understanding my needs more deeply than I even do. Calm my anxious heart and quiet my restless spirit. Lead me beside still waters where my soul finds restoration. In the valleys of uncertainty, be my guiding light. Fill me with a profound sense of Your presence, banishing all fear. Thank you for being my Shepherd, the source of my comfort, strength, and unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, Amen. (add your own prayers) SHOW US YOUR GLORY, LORD! HELP US TO THRIVE IN 2025 AND HELP US TO REMEMBER THAT YOU SEE US!
Think/Journal/Apply: How has God used previous “seasons” to prepare me for where I am now?
As You Have Time: Take some time today to “practice” silence. Yes, I think we’d all agree that silence is hard and it takes practice. Try setting your timer for 5 minutes or more as you grow in the ability to be still! We need to learn to practice silence. You may want to start by simply saying, “Speak, Lord, your servant is listening.” Ok…ready, set, go!
