Dear Praying Friends, On Wednesday, June 11 (yesterday), I asked the children in VBS what they learned about God. One little boy raised his hand and profoundly said,”Light overcomes darkness.” Out of the mouths of babes! I think that is what “redemption” is all about…God’s light overcoming the darkness of sin. As I have shared my faith with many children this week, it has brought me back to my “childlike” faith, too. Praise the Lord! I am redeemed and if you have accepted His gift, you are redeemed, too! Let’s worship Him today and let’s keep asking God to help us to be tenderhearted and compassionate. And thank you for your continued prayers for nation and neighbor.
