Show Us Your Glory, Lord… June 20,2025…Keeping Close

Dear Praying Friends,

After the excitement of answered prayers, I am ending this week with some weariness. I’m reminded that life is filled with both mountains and valleys and that the Lord is the Lord of both. I have often thought about the scripture about seed falling to the ground and dying and then bringing forth life. (John 12:24) I have sometimes related this to times when I feel weary, discouraged, disheartened. It has often been a pattern in my life that when seasons seem to “die”, coming to an end, those places can serve as a gateway to a greater harvest. If you are battling weariness or discouragement today, use that as launching place to cry out for more of God’s presence and power. I believe He loves to “refill” our cup over and over again. The Nation and the world are difficult right now. Thank you for your continued prayers for nation and neighbor. I also invite you to join me in continued prayer with this month’s theme:

Prayer Fuel: Lord, I sometimes take for granted the love that You have for the world and for me. Your love caused You to give Your most valuable possession, Jesus Christ our Lord. Thank You, Jesus, for Your willingness to come among us to make a way for us to be right with God. Yours is the greatest gift of all time. Help me to remember that today and everyday. Help many all over the world to hear of You today and to accept Your wonderful gift. (add your own prayers) SHOW US YOUR GLORY, LORD! HELP US TO THRIVE IN 2025 AND HELP US TO STAY CLOSE TO YOU IN THESE BUSY SUMMER DAYS!
