
Dear Praying Friends, This week I spent several hours worshipping and praying in a cathedral in my town that was built beginning in 1892. One of the key people in its building had brought Christianity to our town many years before when this was a lawless western town. As I was praying, I was reading from Matthew 22 where God invites to a banquet. As I meditate on this (included below as an extra) and on the passage from Luke 9 that I have included here this week, I ask myself if I truly welcome Jesus and all He wants to do in my life. This might be a good question for all of us so let’s continue to humble ourselves and to pray. Thank you for your continued prayers for nation and neighbor.
