Dear Praying Friends~As I write this week’s posts, the word “Humility” is on my heart. Worship of our Lord takes humility from us. We must realize that He is God and WE ARE NOT! It is hard sometimes to die to ourselves and our desires, right? Many in the national prayer streams feel that 2024 could be a year of spiritual awakening and great harvest. Let it be so, Lord! But we need to recognize that as people come into our churches and perhaps our attendance swells, this could be a recipe for pride to ensnare us. We must continue in worship and in humility as we move forward in 2024. This month, please join me as we pray: SHOW US YOUR GLORY, LORD as WE WORSHIP IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH! Pray on, Saints! Psalm 91 Prayer: We’ve had a daily 15-minute prayer call, 8-8:15am Mountain Time, since March 14, 2020. Every morning, we begin by reading Psalm 91 with praying friends from several states. Then we take time to pray as the Holy Spirit directs us. Some come to pray aloud and some come to listen silently and “soak” in what the Holy Spirit is doing. A Day of Prayer and Fasting for Your City, My City, and the World: Thursday, January 11, 2024; join us in whatever way you are able. Consider taking a few moments with praying family and friends to pray for salvation for your city and all across the world. We will be using the January Prayer Guide, Do It Again, Lord, from One Cry, as our suggested prayer prompts.
