Dear Praying Friends, Today I was thinking of Max Lucado, a much loved pastor and writer. I have read many of his books and they have provided much hope in my life. Because of that, and because we are pressing into hope again, I thought it would be good to find a powerful quote from Max. I found this image of a lighthouse with his quote. A lighthouse shines the light into the stormy seas. Jesus is our LIGHT. Here is what Max shares:

As You Have Time: A prayer request: In September, I am leading a mission team to Washington, DC to join a larger group in prayer at our Nation’s Capital. We are planning to pray with our Congressmen. We are not lobbyists and this is an apolitical gathering. I am humbly asking you to pray for me as I lead and for all who will be traveling. It is a tough time in our Nation and we are taking about 200 prayer warriors to pray. Thank you for praying. ~Gina
