Show Us Your Glory, Lord…

Show Us Your Glory, Lord…And Help Us to THRIVE in 2025!

Rhythms of Grace… Praying Kingdom Prayers for Everywhere!

A song that fits our Theme…Open the Heavens…show us Your glory!

Dear Praying Friends, This morning as I prayed, I believe the Lord spoke these words to me: “In the midst of your rain, He REIGNS!” I hope this encourages you as it does me. Take some time this week to listen quietly for His voice. He tells us in Psalm 46:10: “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.” (emphasis mine)

I know that many eyes are on the news and the nation this week as we have a transition of administration. It is important to make the “Good News” (the Bible) your primary news source. I’m praying alot and I encourage you to join me.

Let’s keep praying:

Show Us Your Glory, Lord…And Help Us to THRIVE in 2025!

Know someone who is lonely? I encourage you to start a JOY JAMBOREE! Our scriptures this week will focus on GOD’S PEACE!

Pray on, Saints! ~Gina

Dear Praying friends, It has been good for me to slow down a bit and write just one day at a time on this blog this week. Not sure where we will head in 2025, but God knows. This past Sunday, I heard a good sermon that posed a few striking questions for me. I have included one in the “think/journal/apply” for our Tuesday post. I hope it gets you thinking and praying. I have also included a nation to pray for in that section. Have a great Tuesday! ~Gina

Prayer Pointer: The goal of life is not pleasure, possessions, prestige, politics, power, or popularity. It’s not anything that the world values. The goal of life is the glory of God. -Rick Warren

Prayer “Fuel”: Lord, thank You for the new life that You give to me through Your death and resurrection. I am confident that even in these trying times, I will see Your goodness. Thank You for always being GOOD! (add your own response) SHOW US YOUR GLORY, LORD, as we wait with EXPECTANT HEARTS!

Think/Journal/Apply: A question to consider: What bugs you!?!

A nation to pray for today— Venezuela: Spiritual forces battle in Venezuela. Both rich and poor visit witch doctors in the thousands of spiritist and occult shops. Fewer people go to church in Venezuela than in any other Latin American nation. Millions of former Catholics chose evangelical faith or no religion at all. Pray for the Holy Spirit to bind all the powers that blind Venezuelans to Truth, and to reveal Christ to all. ~Operation World

Dear Praying friends, This week I spoke with a pastor friend who felt the Lord was telling him, “Believe BIGGER!” That word excites me! As You Have Time: The Promise of Peace

Worship Song for Today: This is BEAUTIFUL! Prince of Peace

Dear Praying friends!

Blessed Christmas to all! Thank you for praying with me this year. The blog has had over 3000 views and almost 2000 visitors since I started writing it in June of 2023. Let’s keep praying into 2025 and as I my pastor friend shared (Thursday, December 19) let’s “believe BIGGER!’ This will be my last post for 2024 so that we all can take some time to be still and to enjoy these holy-days!

Next Bible/prayer prompts will be posted on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at midnight!

Love to all, Gina

Show Us Your Glory, Lord… December 9-15, 2024

Rhythms of Grace…Praying Kingdom Prayers for Everywhere!

A song that fits our Theme…Open the Heavens…show us Your glory!

Dear Praying Friends, I usually write the blog posts for the week on Sunday afternoons. As I prepare to write this week’s posts, I am also preparing my heart to minister on Monday at the Christian School where I live. I am meditating on what is known as the Magnificat, which is Mary’s prayer/poem/hymn of praise found in Luke 1:46–55. You can listen here to a beautiful rendition that I will share with the students. Let’s use this beautiful section of scripture to form our own prayers of praise this week.

Let’s pray this month:

SHOW US YOUR GLORY, LORD, as we wait with EXPECTANT HEARTS!

Pray on, Saints! ~Gina

Show Us Your Glory, Lord… November 18-24, 2024

A song that fits our Theme…Open the Heavens…show us Your glory!

Dear Praying Friends,

The first scripture that I wrote in my journal today (11/17) was Psalm 55:22: “Cast your burdens on the Lord, and He will sustain you. He will never permit the righteous to be moved.” I learned the Hebrew word for “sustain” in this verse is “kul” and it is used to describe God’s providential care and support as well as the endurance and maintenance of life and circumstances. Do you feel like some days are hard to endure? Ask the Lord to help you to cast your burdens on Him so that You can receive the sustaining strength that He provides.

Let’s keep praying this month:

SHOW US YOUR GLORY, LORD, as we pray with THANKSGIVING!
